Animal Reports!!

Animal Report!
In Language Arts, we are reading the theme "Animal Habitats."
In Science, we are beginning the life science unit on life cycles.
In writing, we will tie in the other subjects to write non-fiction expository text.

The students will use the Internet, encyclopedias, books, and other resources to find information. They will also learn how to make some slides on Microsoft Powerpoint as a part of their report.

The report will include:
  • A cover (using powerpoint and the internet)
  • Table of Contents
  • Paragraph about the animal habitat
  • Paragraph describing the animal's body
  • Pictures of the animal's food with captions
  • Bibliography

Students may also include:

  • Picture of the animal's body with the body parts labeled
  • Picture of a map of where the animal lives
  • Paragraph about the animal's diet and eating habits
  • Paragraph about the life cycle
  • Paragraph about the behavior
